On April 7, 2019, Cyclovia Tucson will partner with The University of Arizona Poetry Center, Tucson Youth Poetry Slam, Urban Poetry Pollinators, and Tucson Poet Laureate TC Tolbert—along with other local and regional arts organizations—in the hopes of reaching 40,000 people with a singular poetry experience in celebration of National Poetry Month.

Along a three mile route, participants can look forward to hearing poems projected from a roving, audio-equipped bicycle, crafting biking-inspired haiku or "bi-ku," screen printing their own poetry onto T-shirts, readings, and more. Another experience not to miss along the route is a taste of Emily Dickinson’s original gingerbread recipe.
