Gerard Malanga is the author of numerous books of poetry, including Tomboy & Other Tales (Bottle of Smoke Press, 2015), Three Broadside Poems (Bottle of Smoke Press, 2013), and No Respect: New & Selected Poems 1964-2000 (Black Sparrow Press, 2001). A photographer and filmmaker as well as a poet, Malanga worked extensively in film and photography, having worked with Andy Warhol in the 1960s. Malanga is particularly known for his black-and-white portraits of fellow poets, writers, and artists. He lives in New York City.
