Poets Le Hinton and Linda Pastan will read from their work, and an open mic will follow. The evening starts with classical guitar by Michael C. Davis, and includes refreshments. The Writer's Center is about a 10-minute walk from Metro Rail's Bethesda stop on the Red Line.
Cafe Muse is a longstanding, monthly reading series in downtown Bethesda, MD, featuring widely recognized poets. It is sponsored by The Word Works (www.wordworksbooks.org), a non-profit literary organization publishing contemporary poetry and sponsoring programs for more than 40 years. The Writer's Center (www.writer.org) has been hosting and providing literary programs in the Washington DC Area since 1976.
