8th Annual TN Poets Day & Poets From The Neighborhood (PFTN) Decennial Celebration - 2024 - A National POETRY MONTH Festival!

Date: Saturday, April 27th, 2024 (10:00 AM – 3:30 PM/ CST)

Venue: Williamson County Public Library (WCPL- main), Franklin, TN 37064

The Annual Tennessee Poets Day (Est. 2017) is an Annual “All Day POETRY” Events organized by Poets From the Neighborhood (PFTN) to Celebrate the National Poetry Month, as one of PFTN’s community outreach volunteer efforts with outstanding Poetry events – FREE & OPEN to the Public (All Ages)! All Events are Recorded and Aired by the Auspices of the Williamson County Telelevision on WC-TV, TN and Online at a later date.

The 8th Annual Tennessee Poets Day - 2024 highlights our ongoing PFTN’s Decennial Celebration with top notch On-site Programs on Apr.27th and Virtual (ZOOM)events throughout the year and during Poetry Month (Apr.6th & 18th (Pls, See Attached Flyer) which are bound to inspire Poets of all ages & stages.

The On-Site Celebration will be on April, 27th, Saturday (10:00 AM – 3:30 PM) at the Williamson County Public Library (WCPL – Main Branch), Franklin, TN 37064.

(10:00 AM); Key-Note Speech by Honorable WC Mayor Rogers Anderson (10:10 AM) who will also present the PFTN Awards-2024. Events include a Lecture on Poetry In Country Music by TN Poet - Laureate, Margaret Britton Vaughn (11:30 AM);  A Lecture by Renowned TN POET - Jeff Hardin (1:30 PM); Song Performance by Award-Winning Singer & Poet Kathryn Adams; Author Book-Signings & Readings by Renowned TN POETs Henry L. Jones, David M. Harris, Jeff Hardin, JoyPoet Veeraja R, Margaret B. Vaughn & more TN Poets (TBA:Email to sign up).

There will be TWO Open-Mic Poetry Sessions (11:00 AM & 1:00 PM) FREE & Open to the Public (all Ages/Sign Up at the Door). Open-Mic Emcee: David M. Harris.
