The submission period is now open for the Harold Morton Landon Translation Award and the Raiziss/de Palchi Fellowship.

The $1,000 Harold Morton Landon Translation Award recognizes a published translation of poetry from any language into English and published in the previous calendar year. Translators must be living citizens of the United States. The judge for the 2015 Harold Morton Landon Translation Award is Bill Johnston.

The $25,000 Raiziss/de Palchi Fellowship is given for the translation of modern Italian poetry, to enable an American translator to travel, study, or otherwise advance a significant work-in-progress. The winning translator will also receive a five-week residency at the American Academy in Rome. The judges for the 2015 Raiziss/de Palchi Fellowship are Adria Bernardi, Luigi Fontanella, and Giuseppe Leporace.

Submissions for both the Harold Morton Landon Translation Award and the Raiziss/de Palchi Fellowship will be accepted through February 15.
