In honor of the 25th anniversary of National Poetry Month, the Academy of American Poets is pleased to have assisted with a special project from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation called “Twenty Ten Twenty-Five,” which features 10 contemporary poets recommending 10 classic poems that have helped them get through the present moment. Award-winning artist Sindha Agha has brought 3 of the poems and poets’ audio recordings to life through animated videos.

Visit the Mellon Foundation’s project site to read the poems and watch the videos: https://mellon.org/twenty-ten-25/
