Gibbons Ruark

Gibbons Ruark was born in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1941. He is the author of numerous collections of poetry, most recently The Road to Ballyvaughan (Jacar Press, 2015). He is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize, residencies at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Ireland, and three poetry fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina.
