The following guidelines and standards govern the Academy of American Poets’ (a.k.a “the Academy’s”) relationship with its advertising partners. Maintaining editorial integrity and the trust of both the members of the Academy and our readers is paramount. To that end:
The Academy does not allow any relationship with an advertiser to influence editorial decisions.
The Academy makes a clear distinction between editorial and advertising in all of its editorial products. We reserve the right to label any paid content that may be confused with independent editorial material as advertiser-sponsored.
Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their ads are adequately substantiated and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
The Academy may exercise its discretion to refuse or remove any advertising that does not meet its standards, or is inconsistent with or may bring harm or other damage to the Academy’s reputation or brand.
In order for your ad to look its best, please review the following art requirements.
