Steven Kealohapau'ole Hong-Ming WongKealoha, better known as Kealoha, is an internationally acclaimed poet and storyteller. In May 2012, Governor Abercrombie named Kealoha as the state's first official poet laureate. By accepting the position, it is his mission to promote the writing, reading, performance and appreciation of poetry among the people of Hawai'i.
