Sixth Grade Teacher in New Jersey Brings Dear Poet to the Classroom

This National Poetry Month, through our Dear Poet project, we're inviting students in grades 5-12 to engage with poetry by watching videos of some of the award-wining poets who serve on our Board of Chancellors sharing their poems and writing letters to the poets in response to the poems. We've also created a Common Core-aligned lesson plan to accompany the project.
