Our Executive Director Jennifer Benka joins the President and First Lady this afternoon at the White House for a celebration of National Poetry Month, featuring Chancellor Elizabeth Alexander whose new memoir The Light of the World is forthcoming from Grand Central Publishing next week. Alexander composed and recited "Praise Song for the Day" for the 2009 inauguration of President Obama.
