Peggy Simson Curry, born 1911, is the author of Summer Range (Dooryard Press, 1981) and Red Wind of Wyoming and Other Poems (Sage Publishing, 1955), along with several works of fiction. In 1981, Curry was named Wyoming’s first poet laureate. Curry died in 1987.
