Founded in 1994, the Winter Poetry & Prose Getaway is held at Stockton Seaview Hotel in Galloway, New Jersey, near Atlantic City, and features workshops in poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and memoir. In addition, New Jersey teachers can receive seventeen hours of professional development credit. This annual four-day conference typically takes place around the second weekend of January.
