The Ohio Arts Council is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts to strengthen communities in Ohio culturally, economically, and educationally. The Council issues grants and fellowships to individuals and organizations and helps to enhance the growth of the arts through workshops, institutes, symposiums, and an artist in residence program. Additionally, the OAC supports the national Poetry Out Loud program.
