The mission of the Center for Great Plains Studies is to foster the understanding of the culture and history of the Great Plains. Their various projects include the Great Plains Art Museum, the Plains Humanities Alliance, undergraduate and graduate programs, scholarly projects, and outreach programs. It also publishes Great Plains Quarterly and Great Plains Research.
