Charles Simic is the author of numerous poetry collections and translations, including The Lunatic (HarperCollins, 2015), New and Selected Poems, and Master of Disguises. Winner of various awards, including the Pulitzer Prize in Poetry, the PEN Translation Prize, and the Wallace Stevens Award, Simic was named the Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress in 2007. He also formerly taught at NYU’s MFA Program. This event is hosted by NYU Creative Writing Program Director Deborah Landau.
