OUR READERS:

Rachel Hadas is the author of over a dozen books of poetry, essays, and translations; her most recent collections are TALKING TO THE DEAD (prose pieces) and QUESTIONS IN THE VESTIBULE (poetry). Two new books by Rachel are due out this month: POEMS FOR CAMILLA (Measure Press), and verse translations of Euripides’ two Iphigenia plays (Northwestern University Press). The recipient of awards including a Guggenheim Fellowship and the O.B. Hardison Award, she is Board of Governors Professor of English at Rutgers University-Newark.

Most of her work has appeared in student publications at Sarah Lawrence such as, The Sarah Lawrence College Review, The Cliffhanger, and Broken Yolk. Jason Schneiderman, poetry editor of the BLR, will read “Responsibility,” a story by Alok A. Khorana that appears in the new issue of BLR.
