Christopher Morley

Christopher Morley was born in Haverford, Pennsylvania, on May 5, 1890. He received a BA from Haverford College in 1910 and studied at New College, Oxford, as a Rhodes scholar. In 1917 he published the poetry collection Songs for a Little House (George H. Doran Company), which includes several poems about World War I. He is also the author of several works of prose, including The Trojan Horse (Lippincott, 1937). He died on March 28, 1957, in Long Island, New York.
