Franny Choi

Franny Choi, a graduate of the University of Michigan’s Helen Zell Writers Program, is the author of three poetry collections: The World Keeps Ending, and the World Goes On (Ecco/HarperCollins, 2022); Soft Science (Alice James Books, 2019), winner of the 2020 Elgin Award; and Floating, Brilliant, Gone (Write Bloody Publishing, 2014). She is also the author of the chapbook Death by Sex Machine (Sibling Rivalry Press, 2017).

Choi is a Kundiman Fellow and a 2019 Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Fellow. She is the founder of Brew & Forge, an organization that builds connections between writers, artists, and movement workers. Choi is faculty in literature at Bennington College and lives in western Massachusetts.
