Erica Mena

Erica Mena was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She received an MFA in poetry from Brown University and an MFA in literary translation from the University of Iowa. She is the author of Featherbone (Ricochet Editions, 2015), which received a 2016 Hoffer First Horizons Award, and translator of the Argentine graphic novel The Eternaut (Fantagraphics, 2015) by H.G. Oesterheld and F. Solano Lopez, which received a 2016 Eisner Award. The founding editor of Anomalous Press, Mena currently serves as the editor-in-chief of Drunken Boat. She divides her time between Providence, Rhode Island, where she teaches at Brown University, and San Francisco, California.
