Now in its tenth year, PoemCity 2019 highlights include a reading from Roads Taken: Contemporary Vermont Poetry (Green Writers Press, 2018), edited by former Vermont poet laureate Sydney Lea and current Vermont poet laureate Chard deNiord, on April 19; a tribute to Mary Oliver on April 22; and a reading devoted to original work that touches on issues relating to border culture, migration, and social justice, featuring Nico Amador, Cynthia Dewi Oka, and Natalie Scenters-Zapico on April 23.

PoemCity will also feature over 300 poems submitted by Vermonters of all ages at various locations in Montpelier.
