In the silence of the forest,

With the chilly wind rushing, past their bodies.

On the moon-lit tree;

Eye to eye—

Staring at their very own reflections

Their wise faces straight.

Not a single laugh

Or a single sound.

Concentrating—

Not bothered about anything

With the grasshoppers giving—

Them a countdown.

Till they see the green light,

To spread their majestic wings

And

Pounce.

There they are

Two owls,

Ready for

A duel.
