Thank you for writing me as a student in the Dear Poet Project, after reading my poem "The Dogs at Live Oak Beach." To answer your questions:
I used to have a dog named Silver Streak. he was a Siberian Husky, which is something like a German Shepherd , black and white with a white streak down his nose, and medium size. He was very friendly and I loved him a lot. He liked to run away but he always came back.
I hope you get a dog someday.
