February 14—Just in time for Valentine's Day, Poets.org, the website of the Academy of American Poets, has published a selection of ten poetic pairings of love poems with corresponding sweets, drinks, and flowers. From the lustful to the sacred, from Shakespeare to Peter Gizzi, the list offers readers a wide range of romantic suggestions to woo and adore a sweetheart. New York, January 16—The Academy of American Poets has unveiled the official poster for National Poetry Month 2008, designed by SpotCo, a New York City agency responsible for the lion’s share of poster designs for Broadway’s most popular shows. These include RENT, Chicago, and Avenue Q.
