The Manhattan Review Reading Series

Baron Wormser is the author/co-author of fourteen books and a poetry chapbook. Wormser has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, Bread Loaf, and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. From 2000 to 2006 he served as poet laureate of the state of Maine. His latest book of poetry, Unidentified Sighing Objects (CavanKerry Press), came out in September, 2015. His essay on Willem de Kooning appeared in Best American Essays 2014.

Jeanne Marie Beaumont is the author of Burning of the Three Fires, Curious Conduct, and Placebo Effects. Her fourth book, Letters from Limbo, is forthcoming in 2016. Recent work has appeared in Ploughshares, Cave Wall, Gulf Coast, Southern Poetry Review, and Conduit. She lives in Manhattan and teaches for the Stonecoast MFA program and at the 92nd Street Y.

Bitite Vinklers has just published a brilliant new translation of the work of Latvian poet Imants Ziedonis, Each Day Catches Fire (Red Dragonfly Press).
