Brian Holton

Brian Holton is a translator of Chinese into English and Scots. He is a frequent translator of the works of Misty poet Yang Lian. His book-length translations include Yang Lian’s Narrative Poem (Bloodaxe Books, 2017) and Staunin Ma Lane (Shearsman Books, 2016), a translation of classical Chinese poetry into Scots. He lives in Scotland.
