Poets in the Parks

The Academy of American Poets' outdoor reading series, Poets in the Parks, has become a wildly popular addition to the New York City readings landscape. Amidst the wind, shade trees, and passing sirens, the free readings welcome large audiences and frequent passers-by to hear to hear a broad range of styles, personalities, and backgrounds.
