1996. Introduced by Rosanna Warren.
Here is a reading by the Irish poet Paul Muldoon and Australian poet Les Murray, whose gifts of language, wit and storytelling have brought them to the forefront of American poetry.
Listeners to this recording will enjoy their unique and distinctive styles as well as their adept and inventive use of language. In this reading, both poets also pay tribute to the late Russian poet, Joseph Brodsky, who was scheduled to read that evening. Each poet reads from a broad and representative selection of his own work.
