Hear these two important American poets brought together forty years after they studied under Stanley Kunitz, who introduces this reunion. David Wagoner currently serves as editor of Poetry Northwest, which Kizer founded in 1959.

Kizer reads a number of recent poems, as yet unpublished in a collection, and Wagoner reads new poems as well as selections from throughout his long and distinguished career, including "The Junior High School Band Concert."
