Dylan Thomas Rare Manuscripts and Welsh Teas

This rare exhibit includes letters from Dylan Thomas about his trip to America, drafts of an untitled poem beginning "Too proud to die, Broken and Blind he died," which Thomas sent to the recipient the day before he died, drafts of verses from a poem called "Lament" and photos of the poet, including one with his wife Caitlin. A special Welsh tea will be provided.


This event is a part of Wales Week USA--a festival coordinated by the Welsh Assembly Government in New York in partnership with a wide variety of organizations, artists, writers and performers in both Wales and the US.
