The MFA Writing Program at UNC Greensboro, The Greensboro Review, and Spring Garden Press, along with the UNCG Center for Creative Writing in the Arts, will host a reading by Fred Chappell. Chappell's will read from his latest book, Ancestors & Others. It is free and open to the public and will be followed by a reception and a book signing.

One of the founding members of the MFA Writing Program at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Fred Chappell is the author of more than twenty books of poetry, fiction, and essays including Ancestors & Others and Shadowbox, both published in 2009.
