Come not to "the forest primeval" but instead join us as we wander over moss-covered paths and across wide grassy terraces and "gather in the aftermath" at Greenwood Gardens, a 28-acre, early twentieth-century estate now public garden in Short Hills, NJ.
Take a tour of the gardens with the founder of Greenwood, Peter Blanchard III, and then experience New Jersey Poet Rick Mullin's sharing of some of Longfellow's works with us in the Tea House garden.
More information regarding registration for this event will follow soon. In the meantime, however, we are most grateful to Greenwood Gardens for once again supporting The Big Read. |
