Celebrate national Poem In Your Pocket Day on Thursday, April 29, 2010! The idea is simple: select a poem you love during National Poetry Month then carry it with you to share with co-workers, family, and friends. Bring your favorite poem to the library that night and share it with your fellow poetry lovers. Also, have the chance to create your own chapbook, a decorated journal dedicated to your favorite poems. Bring along five of your favorite poems and the library will have the materials needed to create a chapbook. Light refreshments will be provided.
