Tony Hoagland is the author of Unincorporated Personas in the Late Honda Dynasty (2010); What Narcissism Means to Me (2003), a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award; Donkey Gospel (1998), which won the James Laughlin Award; and Sweet Ruin (1992), which won the 1992 Brittingham Prize in Poetry. He is the recipient (among other honors) of the O. B. Hardison Prize for Poetry and Teaching from the Folger Shakespeare Library and the Poetry Foundation's 2005 Mark Twain Award for humorous poetry.

Ron Koertge
 is the author of Indigo (2009), Fever (2006), and Making Love to Roget's Wife (1997). His novels and novels-in-verse for young readers include Shakespeare Bats Cleanup (2006), The Brimstone Journals (2004), and Stoner & Spaz (2004). He is the recipient of a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and a California Arts Council grant.
