April 5, 2014, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, San Antonio), 600 Hemisfair Park, San Antonio, TX

A collaborative evening of poetry, music and visual art presenting “Voices, Vibes & Visions” at UNAM Saturday, April 5,  2014 from 7:30 – 9:30pm. Admission by donation.

This multi-cultural event will feature performances by several well-known South Texas poets, including John Phillip Santos, Amanda Flores and more.  The poems will be interspersed with live music and illustrated by visual art created on-site by artist Momo Brown. It will be hosted by the Celebration Circle of San Antonio, an inter-faith, non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization with a creative approach to spirituality.

The purpose of this event is to foster public awareness of the vital role that poetry plays in building multi-cultural understanding. We also seek to promote the purpose of the Celebration Circle, which is to honor and nurture the Sacred in ourselves, each other and all creation, expressed in ways that honor people of all faiths and no faith alike.
