Give your writing some TLC and write your a** off at New York City's only writing marathon! Join NY Writers Coalition for the 8th Annual Write-a-Thon on Saturday, September 21st in the General Society Library (20 W. 44th Street, Manhattan).
Eight hours to meet other writers, take free writing workshops, learn how to publish with CreateSpace, consume insane amounts of free coffee (courtesy of Joe Coffee), AND get a lunchtime kick-in-the-pants from bestselling author/performer Marian Fontana -- all while helping to support NYWC's free creative writing programs in New York City.
Free breakfast and lunch is provided. To register or for more info on the 8th Annual NYWC Write-a-Thon visit www,nywriterscoalition.org
About NY Writers Coalition: NYWC is one of the largest community writing organizations in the country. NYWC creates opportunities for formerly voiceless members of society to be heard through the art of writing. We provide free, unique and powerful creative writing workshops throughout New York City for people from groups that have been historically deprived of voice in our society, including at-risk and disconnected youth, the homeless and formerly homeless, the incarcerated and formerly incarcerated, war veterans, people with disabilities, cancer and major illness, immigrants, seniors and others.
