Steven Leyva was born in New Orleans, Lousiana and raised in Houston, Texas. His poems have appeared in The Fiddleback, The Light Ekphrastic, The Cobalt Review, and The Little Patuxent Review. He is a Cave Canem fellow, the winner of the 2012 Cobalt Review Poetry Prize, and author of the chapbook Low Parish. He holds a MFA from the University of Baltimore, where he teaches in the undergraduate writing program.
Krystie Keller has a masters in creative writing from NYU where she studied poetry under Allen Ginsberg and her thesis advisor was E.L. Doctorow. Her work has appeared in Non-LP B-Side, Dimensions, and Two Girls.
Lynne Procope is a Cave Canem fellow and a former National Poetry Slam champion (Team: Nuyorican NYC 1998). She is co-author of the collaborative collection, Burning Down the House (Soft Skull) and her poems have appeared in numerous anthologies and journals. She is curator of the Gaslight Salon, co-founder and managing editor of Union Station Magazine and executive director of the louderARTS Project.
