Elinor Mattern (MFA Fairleigh Dickinson University) teaches writing and literature at Atlantic Cape Community College. Her poems and non-fiction have appeared in Washington Square, Without Haloes, Footwork: Paterson Literary Review, The Sow’s Ear, the New Jersey anthology, 25 Women’s Perspectives, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. She was the recipient of Fairleigh Dickinson University’s MFA program’s Director’s Award in Poetry, and her poems are posted at their website, which can be accessed through http://www.webdelsol. She is also a visual artist, has exhibited her photographs and paintings, and speaks to groups on many aspects of creativity, culture and communication.
Peter E. Murphy was born in Wales and grew up in New York City where he operated heavy equipment, managed a night club, and drove a cab. He is the author of Stubborn Child, a finalist for the 2006 Paterson Poetry Prize, and a chapbook, Thorough & Efficient. Recipient of a 2009 Poetry Fellowship from the NJ State Council on the Arts, he teaches at Richard Stockton College and directs the annual Winter Poetry & Prose Getaway and other programs for writers and teachers in the U.S. and abroad.
