Poetry Center San Jose (PCSJ) presents Well-RED, an exciting poetry reading series in downtown San Jose, featuring Persis Karim.

Persis Karim's poetry has been published in a number of national and local publications including Reed Magazine, Caesura, HeartLodge, and The Pedestal and short poem.org. She is co-editor of the forthcoming, Tremors: New Fiction by Iranian American Writers  (University of Arkansas Press, 2013) and editor and contributing poet to Let Me Tell You Where I've Been: New Writing by Women of the Iranian Diaspora (2006). She is currently working on a collection of poems titled, "Resilience."  She teaches literature and creative writing at San Jose State University.
