On the occasion of May Swenson's hundredth birthday, and in conjunction with the publication of Swenson's Collected Poems by the Library of America, the Monmouth County Library, Eastern Branch, will host the poets Joan Larkin, Timothy Liu, and Grace Schulman. They will discuss Swenson's work and life, her enduring significance and influence, and read their favorite poems by Swenson. |
