Live from the New York Public Library
Anne Carson’s beloved 1999 modern verse novel Autobiography of Red is an unconventional modern adaptation of ancient Greek myths mixed with original narrative. In the book, Carson's protagonist, Geryon, begins writing his autobiography at the age of five. Now, Carson brings Geryon into manhood, with her long awaited release Red Doc>, and joins Paul Holdengräber onstage at The New York Public Library to discuss this new work.
