Catherine Barnett is the author of two books of poems, Into Perfect Spheres Such Holes Are Pierced (Alice James Books) and The Game of Boxes (Graywolf Press 2012), winner of the James Laughlin Award for second books. She has received a fellowship from the Guggenheim Foundation and the Whiting Writers Award. She works as an independent editor and teaches at the New School and New York University. Cynthia Cruz is the author of Ruin(Alice James Books) and The Glimmering Room (Four Way Books 2012). She is the recipient of fellowships from Yaddo and the Mac Dowell Colony, as well as a Hodder Fellowship from Princeton University. She teaches at Sarah Lawrenece College and the 92nd St Y. Jo Sarzotti is the author of Mother Desert (Graywolf Press 2012), which won the 2011 Bakeless Literary Prize. She is a recipient of a fellowship from the Bread Loaf Writers Conference. She teaches literature at The Juilliard School and directs the Liberal Arts Department.
