Catherine Barnett’s most recent book is The Game of Boxes. She won the 2003 Beatrice Hawley Award for her book Into Perfect Spheres Such Holes Are Pierced, which was published in spring 2004 by Alice James Books. Her poems have been published in Gulf Coast, Pleiades, The Washington Post, Barrow Street, Shenandoah, The Massachusetts Review, and The Iowa Review. She is the recipient of a 2006 Guggenheim Fellowship, a 2004 Whiting Writers’ Award, the 2004 Glasgow Prize for Emerging Writers, and a Pushcart Prize. She teaches in The New School MFA program and at New York University.
Michael Robert Collier is the author of numerous books including, most recently, An Individual History, Dark Wild Realm, a translation of Euripedes’ Medea, and The Ledge. Additionally, he has edited three anthologies of poetry including The New American Poets: A Bread Loaf Anthology. From 2001 to 2004 he was the Poet Laureate of Maryland. He is the director of the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, a professor of creative writing at the University of Maryland, College Park and the poetry editorial consultant for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
