Gabriel Spera's most recent book, The Rigid Body, was selected by Natasha Trethewey for the Richard Snyder award and was published by Ashland Poetry Press in September 2012. His first collection, The Standing Wave (HarperCollins), was a National Poetry Series selection and also received the Literary Book Award in Poetry from PEN USA-West. Other honors include a fellowship from the NEA. He lives in Los Angeles. |
