Today we spotlight www.npmsa.com, home of National Poetry Month San Antonio. The website features a book list that highlights recently published collections by local poets, and a National Poetry Month Calendar, which promotes local events in April and beyond.
Upcoming events include Jazz Poets of San Antonio, a free writing session and evening of jazz music that takes place every Tuesday; events for young poets such as Fresh Ink Youth Writing Workshop, a free monthly poetry slam solely for youth between the ages of thirteen and twenty; and the San Antonio Book Festival, a free day-long event at the Central Library and Southwest School of Art that presents more than seventy-five acclaimed national and regional authors at readings, panel discussions, book sales, and signings.
