Harmony Holiday

Harmony Holiday is a writer, dancer, archivist, and the author of five collections of poetry including Negro League Baseball (Fence Books, 2011); Hollywood Forever (Fence Books, 2016); and Maafa (Fence Books, 2021). 

The recipient of the Motherwell Prize from Fence Books, a Ruth Lilly Fellowship, and a New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) fellowship, among others, Holiday curates an archive of griot poetics and a related performance series at Los Angeles’s Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).
