Supporting the reading, writing, study, and enjoyment of poetry, the Poetry Society of South Carolina is a membership organization offering readings by nationally known poets, an annual Yearbook of winning poems, contests, and more. The organization is also responsible for the Skylark Prize, a competition for SC high school students.
