The North Valley Arts Council began in 1986 as a volunteer organization under the name of the Greater Grand Forks Arts and Humanities Association. The North Valley Arts Council (NoVAC) supports and promotes arts and culture for artists, arts organizations, and citizens of Greater Grand Forks. NoVAC staff create professional development programs, networking opportunities, calendaring services, advocacy events, and information resource services.
