The Missoula Writing Collaborative teaches literary competence, critical thinking, cultural awareness, and artistic joy through creative writing. Their Writers in the Schools Program places writers in school classrooms, after-school programs, youth homes, and other venues to foster and help the local students develop their creative writing skills. They also offer two summer writing programs: one for students ages 8-14 and another for students ages 15-17.
