The Cypress Dome Society (CDS) is a university approved student organization dedicated to fostering the literary arts at the University of Central Florida and promoting a sense of community among writers and artists. It supports and publishes The Cypress Dome, UCF's award-winning student literary journal; sponsors Writers in the Sun, which brings nationally-acclaimed authors to campus; and organizes the Student-Faculty Reading series and open mic nights.
